The latest figures from video game sales tracker the NPD Group have revealed that Super Mario 3D Land was able to achieve sales of over 625,000 units across North America during November, Nintendo have confirmed.
This makes it the fastest-selling portable Super Mario game within North American history, surpassing that previously achieved by New Super Mario Bros. DS whose overall sales currently surpass 26.88 million units.
The Nintendo 3DS itself was also able to celebrate its strongest month of sales across North America, since the handheld launched earlier in the year.
